It’s been well over a month since I posted anything meaningful here and that can be squarely blamed on the fact I had a game to finish. Since I came back from France at Easter the average working day has exceeded twelve hours and has been known to hit the high teens and if that is necessary then window for blogging tends to get squeezed.

Things are easing off now, though, and the end is in sight as deadlines loom large in the foreground and people hammer on our door demanding a gold disc sooner rather than later.

This being so, in the last week I actually managed to sit down and play the game for the first time. Up until now all I have ever done is boot the necessary work space and packed Pinatas into crates; so to settle back with a near-release version and start growing my own garden was oh so enjoyable. I could finally see everything coming together and I must have smiled constantly for the first 90 minutes of play - right up until the point where Seedos opened a gate to inspect some plants and in doing so let my rabbits out of their pen straight into the mouths of lurking foxes. He got a spade round the back of the head for that one.
